Travel at Ponot Asahan Waterfall

Ponot Asahan Waterfall is said to be said to be the highest waterfall in Indonesia. Has a height of approximately 250 m with a very heavy water discharge and a multilevel waterfall. AIT Ponot Falls Located in Tangga Village, Aek Songsongan District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. Located in the southeast of Parapat City with a distance of about 69 km. Ponot Asahan Waterfall has 3 levels of waterfalls with very heavy water debit coupled with some small waterfalls flowing from between the rocks adding to the beauty and beauty of this waterfall.

Ponot Waterfall is in the Ponot River which is the Asahan tributary. It is located at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. The typical view of this location is a waterfall that is widely urged by green trees. Not far from Ponot Waterfall, there are a number of small waterfalls that can also be looked at. The flow of Ponot waterfalls is not the vertical type immediately falls, but there are two to three levels that beautify water drops.

Access to the waterfall can be passed by two-wheeled or four-wheeled motorized vehicles but visitors need to be careful because in some roads there are potholes and pass through oil palm plantations. Upon arrival in the Ponot Waterfall tourist area, visitors will be welcomed with a large gate. Visitors still have to walk about 500 meters to get to the lip of the waterfall.
Entrance ticket + two -wheeled vehicle is IDR 10,000, while the entrance ticket + four -wheeled vehicle is IDR 20,000.
