NO! bitcoin wisdom isn't the final authority either, and let me explain just what I mean by that. For all you investors who haven't been investing for over a year I would like to furnish a tip .. First let me point out the obvious so what I say next makes perfect sense. Okay so the coinmarketcap site is doing a great job at showing the current market caps and for some, the market value of each coin. (think about the difference) In the stock market and forex you have a delay on all information, that's what we're dealing with when it comes to computers. They check for information and give it out(1,0/True, False) and we monitor the information given to us by the computers, to make a call or put. (hypothetically everyone is a trader) Now when you buy google shares at $3 (hypothetically) you tell your device to tell the broker to tell the market to buy. But by the time everyone is aware of your your order of google shares, the price has gone up to $5 per share. (all of this is hypothetical). This is a error that the only thing you can do to debug is to find a better broker and odds are it's none of the big names you heard of. So then you thought you bought at one price but really it was another price you where not aware of.
Knowing people and this can take care of anything because when it comes to trading it's a learning curve and the bad trades make the good ones more valuable. (vise versa) When you get on the coinmarketcap.com website you see what each currency is estimated at and while they are good estimates it is the markets that control the price. And when you open up the markets you can see which market is trading what percentage of that particular currency. We all know you can click on the markets and it will take you directly to the market. But when you look at it good enough you can see things, but you gotta know what to look for. The most someone has paid for the currency, the least someone has paid, the last transaction or trade on that exchange. This also can all be looked at on the block chain to confirm what you see. And in terms of currency we know that it is absolutely worthless, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. With this you can see what someone is actually paying and that is the actual price of the currency.... Something to think about when trading. Best of luck!
