HIVE OPEN MIC 187: MY HEART WILL GO ON / A COVER BY USAGIDEE 🎶🎶
Hello there, Hive Open Mic! Thank you very much for the chance to be your 187th Spotlight artist. It is really an honor for me to be a part of this exceptional community where every artist and great performer gets acknowledged and recognized for their outstanding work. I chose "a peaceful song" as our theme this week. I believe everyone joining this event has a lot to give, so good luck, ladies and gentlemen! 🥰😇
I chose Celine Dion's song "My heart will go on" for this theme because I know this music fits our theme very well. I first listened to this song in the movie Titanic, which made me understand the mixed emotions contained in this song. It reminds me of Jack and Rose's love story and how they end up not being together because Jack died at the same time as the Titanic boat sank. I believe that this song really belongs to this couple. One thing I admire about Rose is that she keeps living her life to the fullest, as she promised Jack. And I am truly proud of Rose because of the trauma she experienced in her life since the sinking of the Titanic; she made Jack an inspiration to continue her life.
In this modern society, I find it difficult to take courage, especially when we are brokenhearted or maybe our loved one has left us. Even I can't imagine what my life would be like if I lost the person I cared about the most. But this song, "My Heart Will Go On," taught me to move forward, especially when we experience difficult moments in our lives, and to use the memories as inspiration.
