But how to improve? We all know the problems. Downvotes should maybe have a cost again, this way it is less likely to downvote for "personal" reasons. Maybe 1-2 are free and the others paid.

I always think about like this, imagine Trump and harris had used hive the last election, that would be a shitshow for the side that has less tokens.

Unlikely it happens to hive, but it would screw at least one side off and become 1 opinion monopol like reddit.

But again, how to improve it? It doesnt looks like some of the core chain devs look at it, and they are at the end the rules maker ( even if we have a lot of stake doesnt mean out code would ever hit the hive blockchain).

This is the question that can solve all problems. From solving problems nobody has, to solving problems at least some people have or want to talk about.
