well i agree. Hive is not free at all.
As long someone else can punish you for your opinion is not really a open field for discussion. The damage of reputation and marketing is in the $ millions.
Hive had good authors ( some got bullied off because of duplicate content they also had on other social media or their website).
Hive had so many big crypto influencers ( all of them got bullied off and retards was like " we make our own influencers").
Post something about politics, medicine, tinfoil or slightly offensive = punishment.
Thats not freedom of speech ( maybe it is somehow since your post shows up, but is not how to enjoy it).
No memes, no alpha in crypto ( since every content creator post something about another coin is called shitcoiner or scamer).
No finance ( maybe that changes with maggi, but i dont think it will have any meaningful deep pools or tech that is next level like shieled transactions or something good).
RC are pretty useless ( i mean look @hurtlocker he has a ton and no way to use it in a cool way to make profit for him or for the platform and increase the value of his stake).
And hive has a problem since a money attack doesnt need 51%, it needs some random sucker power up for 1BTC 1 million hive and bully of people.
so attack a chain with 24M marketcap can be done with 60k usd. IDK, that sounds not like a solid system.
Downvotes should cost again ( i made a shitpost about this).
