Hola a todos espero se encuentren en compañía de buenas rolas, en esta tan grata ocasión quiero compartir unos de los mejores momentos significativos... Volver a la Banda Show Escuela Artemisa 🥹💛

As many of you already know, I have been in a band for two years, however this year I could not be very active due to university and work issues, therefore I missed many parades, contests and presentations, I was hoping to return at some point and well ... The opportunity came to me and I did not waste it, I was able to rehearse again although my main instrument is the trombone in C major in this new theme 2025-2026 they switched me to the Bass Drum, so I was thinking that I would go out to the presentations with that instrument, however things took an unexpected turn and the director of the Band sent me to Lira 😅 something that took me out of my comfort zone because I have not played the instrument for a long time

Cómo muchos ya saben estoy en banda desde hace dos años sin embargo este año no pude estar muy activa por cuestiones de la universidad y el trabajo por lo tanto me perdí de muchos desfiles, concursos y presentaciones, tenía la esperanza de volver en una oportunidad y pues ... La oportunidad me llegó y no la desaproveche, pude volver a ensayar aunque mi instrumento principal es el trombón en Do mayor en esta nueva temática 2025-2026 me pasaron al Bombo, así que tenía pensando que saldría a las presentaciones con ese instrumento, sin embargo las cosas dieron un giro inesperado y el director de la Banda me mandó a Lira 😅 algo que me sacó de mi sona de confort porque tengo mucho tiempo que no toco el instrumento

I had to prepare in a full rehearsal and learn all the songs that were going to be used in the parade. Our presentation was in the community of the Virgin of Coromoto. On that day, they held a solemn mass and a procession where we were accompanied by the band from nearby our municipality, Tepuy Roraima. They went in front of the procession and we played at the back. Our repertoire consisted of old pieces from previous seasons and new songs that we are working on like "Lambada", for this season we couldn't miss the gems like the "80's merengue mix" and salsa caleña, the presentation lasted 5 hours we started at 6:30 and finished at 10 at night, then they gave us a small snack in the church followed by the group photo between the bands and some of the people who make life in that community, we were received very well we had very nice and friendly attention, obviously the bochinche could not be missed so finishing the presentation and after having eaten a good snack our bands joined in a traditional fish wheel and we started to play, dance, we did competitions and instrument challenges like conga challenge, timbales, conga vs tambora and so on, we spent a very pleasant time with our sister band tepuy, we even went on the same bus (incredibly if we fit), we arrived at the base of the Band around 11:30 at night and we ended up going home at 12 tired but happy, this time I was able to parade with my cousin, only now I was in a lyre and she was in a grenadier, however they were very beautiful moments of happiness since we had not gone out for a long time, so this parade was unforgettable and very pleasant.

Me tuve que preparar en una ensayo completo y aprenderme todas las canciones que iban para el desfile, nuestra presentación fue en la comunidad de la Virgen de Coromoto, por su día realizaron una misa solemne y una procesión en donde nos acompañó la banda cercana a nuestro municipio Tepuy Roraima, ellos iban adelante y nosotros atrás de la procesión tocando. Nuestro repertorio estuvo compuesto por piezas viejas de anteriores temporadas y de canciones nuevas que estamos trabajando como "Lambada", para esta temporada no pudieron faltar las joyitas como el "mix de merengue de los 80"y salsa caleña, la presentación tuvo una duración de 5 horas empezamos a las 6:30 y terminamos a las 10 de la noche, después nos dieron un pequeño refrigerio en la iglesia seguido de la foto grupal entre las bandas y parte de las personas que hacen vida en esa comunidad, nos recibieron muy bien tuvimos una atención muy bonita y amable, obviamente no podía faltar el bochinche así que terminando la presentación y después de haber comido un buen refrigerio nuestras bandas se unieron en una rueda de pescado tradicional y nos pusimos a tocar, bailar, hicimos competencias y retos de instrumentos como reto de congas, timbales, congas vs tambora y así sucesivamente, pasamos un rato muy ameno con nuestra banda hermana tepuy ,hasta nos fuimos en el mismo autobús (increíblemente si cupimos), llegamos a la base de la Banda a eso de las 11:30 de la noche y terminamos yendo a la casa a las 12 cansadas pero felices, en esta oportunidad puede desfilar con mi prima hermana solo que ahora yo en lira y ella en granadero, sin embargo fueron momentos de felicidad muy bonitos ya que teníamos mucho tiempo sin salir las dos así que este desfile fue inolvidable y muy ameno.

It was a unique experience, I really missed being in this type of events and in advance I thank my director for the opportunity to return to the bandistico world again, I must admit that my band has made some changes, I met new members, paraded with old friends and remembered many old times, this wonderful night will remain engraved in my heart and mind for a long time waiting to share moments like this again, it was a wonderful experience my first time going out on a lyre and it is something that is priceless and has no words to explain the adrenaline that runs through your veins when you play and parade while you dance playing the best you can exceeding your physical limits all bathed in sweat but it is part of the experience💛🩵.

Fue una experiencia única, yo extrañaba mucho estar en este tipo de eventos y de antemano agradezco a mi director por la oportunidad de volver otra vez al mundo bandistico, debo admitir que mi banda ha hecho algunos cambios, conocí nuevos integrantes desfile con viejos amigos y recordé muchos viejos tiempos, está noche tan maravillosa se quedará grabada en mi corazón y mente por muchísimo tiempo esperando volver a compartir momentos de este tipo, fue toda una experiencia maravillosa mi primera vez saliendo en lira y es algo que no tiene ni precio ni palabras para explicar la adrenalina que corre por tus venas al momento de tocar y desfilar mientras bailas tocando lo mejor que puedes sobrepasando tus límites físicos todo bañado en sudor pero es parte de la experiencia💛🩵.
