here are some ways to control others.

1. Make sure they are able to do what you want. Before you do anything, make sure the person you are trying to control really can do the thing you want them to do. Sometimes, no matter how much we want someone to do something, they just can't do it [1]. It's important to think about this because if someone can't do what you want, then you just position yourself in failure, which will hurt everyone involved.

2.Evaluate why they are doing what they are now doing. Today, the person you are trying to control is doing something you don't want them to do. But before you start persuading them to do something different, you must understand what motivates them to choose their current actions. What makes them think that what they are doing is a good idea? Once you know their motivation, you can manipulate the motivation to direct them to something different.

3.Find their best motivators. Now that you know what their motivation is now, try to understand the most important motivators for them. Manipulating this motivator will be the easiest way to get a big impact. Think about things they really value in making decisions by thinking about decisions they have taken in the past or long debates between you and them. If you know what matters most to them, then you can introduce the motivator to get the results you want.

4.Understand what is blocking them. Now that you understand what makes the argument look good to them, you need to look at factors that block them from your argument. What if what you try to do makes them think it's a bad idea? If you know what they perceive as risk is what you ask for, you can look for ways to make that risk look smaller.
