Often times we find ourselves in situations that makes us begin to entertain doubts and fears. When fear begins to deal in our hearts it drives away faith. When I find myself in situations like this the anchor scripture I go to is Matthew 6:27, it says:
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
The truth of the matter is that worrying never solves any problem. One of the best ways to waste our time is by using it to worry. Things may not seem to be going in the right direction for a period of time but that doesn't make it the right time for us to start having doubts; doubts that God is not aware of our situations or is not hearing us anymore when we call on Him.
The hours of time we put into worrying would not do us any good, rather it may even be harmful to us. Verse 30 of the scripture went on further to say:
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Those who have God in their lives and are aware of the manner of God they have need not worry. After His son Jesus Christ, there's nothing else compared to the love that He has for you and I. When faced with such situations we should encourage ourselves by the fact that God is with us.
