The topic of freemasonry is a complicated one, as is the history of the US. My understanding is that the US was intended to become a slave continent by freemasonry, the history of Albert Pike at that time is relevant. The right to bare arms against the government can be seen just as much as an attempt to keep evil in power as it could be an attempt to stop evil getting into power - the difference is determined only by the prevailing perceptions of the population. If the masses wanted slavery to continue then they might have used weapons to kill a government that tried to stop them.
