Consistent demand for a token driven by consumers makes number go up.
I already said that in another reply under this post, yes.
That consumer element has been lacking here since day one.
Imo, mostly for the reasons I already stated.
All onboarding attempts only focus on attracting more creators.
Not necessarily, negative sentiment generated by poor onboarding can cause people to leave.
This is why some view content as an expense and that's where terms like 'over-rewarded' come from.
I don't follow your logic here.
Too stressful and clunky sounds more like an excuse out of laziness and the simple fact society has grown accustomed to these platforms doing all the heavy lifting for them.
The other platforms have spent billions and hired some of the smartest people specifically because they know that simply building a platform is not enough. You need to evolve it to be optimised for people's uniqueness and limited timespace etc. - It's not realistic to build a clunky system and expect large numbers of people to dedicate large chunks of their life to learning it (especially when the documentation is poor or non existent). User Experience is very important and requires constant attention to detail in order to improve adoption and user retention - this isn't debatable with me, it's totally proven and accepted time and time again by the most successful businesses.
I drove thousands of pairs of outside eyes to my work in the early days.
My post is largely about people who are challenging the status quo in the world who need to know that when they drive followers somewhere that their reputation will be enhanced or supported - rather than ridiculed. Even people that like Hive who have bigger followings often won't drive people here because they are concerned about the unknowns. It's not difficult to send people here, they just choose not to.
Some of these folks with large outside markets include several wallet addresses for donations when they post here, but no mention of the better deal that is staking tokens and tipping with consistent votes, akin to a subscription.
I can't speak for them but again this suggests poor messaging from Hive. I have seen big names saying things that are totally untrue about Hive - I don't think they do it maliciously, they are just in the dark.
Anyway, arts and entertainment in history and now, by far, is the most heavily censored,
I disagree on that totally.
yet in all my years here I've not had any serious problems publishing whatever I want, however I want.
Because you aren't doing anything particularly controversial. I have had multiple death threats, a website totally delisted from Google, comments deleted from Facebook in realtime as I send them, comments on Youtube blocked from being seen by anyone except me (without being notified) and on and on. The more you challenge the gatekeepers, the more censored you get.
in six years the only folks downvoting my comments would be yourself and Kenny.
i downvoted you once as I recall for writing the word 'boring' under a long post I made and then getting upvoted for multiple dollars. by bringing this up as one of the only examples of you being downvoted you demonstrate once again that your comments here are meaningless and irrelevant in this context. I'm not even trying to be mean here - you are just obviously presenting yourself in this way and I'm sure most readers will agree.
It's unfortunate you feel like destroying the reputation of this platform on a consistent basis with your nonstop smear campaign. To me it looks like you're in the business of selling fear. Doing your best to steer folks away.
It's unfortunate that you keep inventing false descriptions to try to discredit me, but that's on you
