For several years now, we have traditionally seen the winter on the slopes of Elbrus. Last winter was not an exception, we went back to the Azau meadows for khichin, lagman and beer "Terek". This year, despite the poor visibility and constant snow storms, the skating is excellent. Usually now the bottom of the track has melted, and the top is rolled into the ice. Now the slope situation is better than in all my previous trips to Elbrus.
But, not everything is so beautiful at the resorts in the Elbrus area. Trapped in our sinful minds next year to go see spring elsewhere, for example, in Sochi. If earlier on Elbrus will be the development of the resort - every year there is something better, but this year in the pros, perhaps, only a new cafe in "Gara-Bashi" station, where there are few people, because most tourists prefer to eat a little less from 3850 meters above sea level.Well, that's why there is no queue and thrash, tasty and even cheap, compared to the same "World".
Now about the cons. Previously the ski ticket card was issued on bail, and at the end of the day it had to be delivered in exchange for 100 rubles, either, or recharged in the morning and used again. Now this bad practice has been abandoned - the cards can now be discarded, and you have to buy new ones every day, the old ones are not accepted or refilled. Simply put, rest, they learn to cut 100 rubles a day.
