Probably, many of you have seen convincing ads about snow white teeth and not bleeding gums because of the micro savings (the industry is just happy with sales) - fluoride. And as a beginning, it will be useful only to find out the meaning of this word. Fluor (from the other Greek ςρος "destruction, destruction, danger", then from φθείρω "destroy, destroy, destroy").

And although dentists say you need some fluoride supplements, the need for this has not been proven. In addition, experiments show that mice that do not receive fluoride remain (in the generation!) As healthy (and with good teeth) as those receiving fluoride. Some prominent experts believe that fluoride is not as useful for teeth as it is believed, but the dangers of poisoning exist.

In 1962, the US Department of Health reported that children from Newburgh, New York, where fluoride was first added to drinking water, began to decompose faster than before fluoridation. A similar pattern was recorded in Baltimore (Maryland), where the water began to have fluorinated since 1952. Well, Puerto Rican residents, after drinking water fluoridation, not only noted an increase in tooth decay, but in addition to every second teenager due to excess fluoride in the body, freckled brown spots speckled.

It is evident that fluorine can interfere with the work of many body enzyme systems, and the use of fluoridated drinking water increases the allergic tendency. In addition, excess fluoride makes the teeth and bones fragile.

There is evidence that fluoride can destroy chromosomes. Even if we rule out the fluoridation of drinking water, we are threatened by a steady increase in fluorine-containing contaminants, both in water and in the air.

This issue has been discussed in the American Journal of Childhood Illness and in particular stresses that fluoride is a potent poison for adolescents and adults alike, so adding it to drinking water is "redundant, irrational, useless, wasteful and expensive."

Professor of Chemistry Dr Philip Chen noticed the fact that fluorine is added to water, interacting with magnesium, forming insoluble salt - magnesium fluoride. Therefore, the absorption of magnesium is disrupted. Thus, fluoridation can cause magnesium deficiency, which is usually not enough.

Now your turn is to draw conclusions.
