First off, for those members that joined the community at the beginning, they can confirm that this was part of the package offered to them. However, it could only be delivered once because we were struggling to meetup with SP lease renewals. I promised when it was stopped that it will be restarted ones our situation improves and that is what I have done. I think 6 months has been a long time for members that joined during the first month to see a restart of what was promised during take off.

We are able to renew our SP leases and with HF21/22 we are earning more from curation which is increasing our owned SP too. We are also able to take up new SP leases when the opportunity avails itself, so it is worth it.

We must also consider that this is a competitive environment we are in. Why should users delegate SP to @upvotebuilders or remain with us when they can join ABC or XYZ? It is an incentive to keep our members, to make them increase their delegation to the community pool and to bring in new members. HF21/22 threw up a lot of options for Steemians and we need to be at the top of our gain not just by rendering upvotes but giving back to the people that have supported you so that the bonding continues to grow.

A lot of members left during the early stages when things were very tough for us, but a lot of you stuck in there with the hope that things will get better, you supported the community through thick and thin and that is what has kept us going and I appreciate that a lot.

The aim of the community is to support members in all ways to help them grow their own account and not just the community account. This is part of the support we can give to them.

Finally, starting from a month ago I have repeatedly been making post about power down sharing, so that every member know what was coming, I have made special post dedicated to our move forward and how we were going to achieve it before and after HF21/22. In all the post, I never got a comment were I was asked not to go ahead with it, which for me meant there was no voiced opposition to it so we had to move ahead.
