[#50406] I had a cancer scare this year and it was the worst experience of my life. I didn't pull out of school which in hindsight, I should have prioritized my health but here I still am. I didn't ask for extra help and burped up blood during my lin alg final which I kept in my mouth for 10minutes to not draw attention. What's worse is that it's still first year so I'm not comfortable enough sharing this without feeling pitied, but my health keeps getting worse and I have no one to talk to about it. I mean the nitty gritty details, how I'm scared about the visits, how my family feels about the whole situation, how they treat me like I'm dying. And it's not exactly something I can bring up over text to my high school friends studying across the country dealing with their own uni stresses. My point from all this: What do you do when you keep feeling yourself slipping away from what you thought was your reality? I don't even recognize myself, I don't like feeling like this half functioning person
