[#50216] My dog had a puppy... Just one big puppy, and it died during birth. She then "adopted" a toy as her puppy and kept it near her for a few weeks. She let me hold the toy and touch it, but snarled at the other dog we had when he would get near it. She trusted me around her 'puppy'.
