[#49950] Every character in Fullmetal Alchemist is based on either a cat or a dog: dog people have bangs and cat people have combed-back hair. Edward actually starts the story acting like an excitable, droopy-eared Chihuahua. Also, the most literal application of this fact is seen in Nina Tucker.
