Hola comunidad, feliz de regalarles esta foto del día, además de disfrutar de su historia y significado social, me encanta que la Universidad de Antioquia este a pocas cuadras de mi casa, eso me da casi siempre un paseo diario lleno de apreciación arquitectónica y nostalgia universitaria.
La Universidad de Antioquia es la institución de educación superior universitaria más importante del departamento de Antioquia (Colombia), fundada hace mas de 200 años por los reyes de la época, cuenta con una infraestructura monumental, y sin duda alguna al transitar cerca de sus instalaciones te quedas impactado por su presencia, y viajas a esa época de apogeo arquitectónica, debió ser un desafío y un logro histórico para el momento, y lo maravilloso es que es una de las universidades de mayor prestigio del país, esta activa y en sus 26 unidades académicas divididas en 14 facultades, cuatro escuelas, cuatro institutos y tres corporaciones que ofrecen cerca de 130 programas de pregrado. En postgrado, ofrece 58 especializaciones, 46 especialidades médicas, 57 maestrías y 23 doctorados, para un total de 184 programas en esa modalidad.
Es una casa de estudios publica y en la actualidad esta en el puesto 13 por su excelencia académica, y tiene uno de los mejores programas de medicina de Suramérica

Sin duda está lleno de historia social y política. En 1827 aproximadamente Simón Bolívar concedió la autorización para impartir enseñanza en jurisprudencia, dato que me entusiasma.
Mi imaginación vuela, me imagino estudiantes de la época, en su largos pasillos, con atuendos y estilos ya pasados, con discursos y pensamientos que forjaron la sociedad de la época, y que somos producto de ese momento histórico, hoy siguen sus estudiantes llenando pasillos y discerniendo de los problemas actuales y como emprender ese paso de estudiante a profesional, creo que se ha perdido el impulso humano heroico, se ha transformado en un aire de heroísmo cibernético o mejor dicho heroísmo de REDES…. Pero creo que todo es válido cuando lo único que pauta la historia es la misma historia tejiendo circunstancias.

The University of Antioquia is the most important university higher education institution in the department of Antioquia (Colombia), founded more than 200 years ago by the kings of the time, it has a monumental infrastructure, and without a doubt when walking near its facilities you are shocked by its presence, and you travel to that era of architectural heyday, it must have been a challenge and a historic achievement for the moment, and the wonderful thing is that it is one of the most prestigious universities in the country, it is active and in its 26 academic units divided into 14 faculties, four schools, four institutes and three corporations that offer nearly 130 undergraduate programs. In postgraduate, it offers 58 specializations, 46 medical specialties, 57 master's degrees and 23 doctorates, for a total of 184 programs in this modality.
It is a public university and is currently ranked 13th for its academic excellence, and has one of the best medical programs in South America.
It is certainly full of social and political history. In approximately 1827, Simón Bolívar granted authorization to teach jurisprudence, a fact that excites me.
My imagination flies, I imagine students of the time, in its long corridors, with clothes and styles already past, with speeches and thoughts that forged the society of the time, and that we are the product of that historical moment, today its students continue to fill corridors and discerning the current problems and how to undertake that step from student to professional, I think that the heroic human impulse has been lost, it has been transformed into an air of cybernetic heroism or better said heroism of REDES…. But I think that everything is valid when the only thing that guides history is history itself weaving circumstances.
