Greetings Hive friends, many things to share, and with a big lump in my throat, full of emotion, a special weekend, unique and unrepeatable, because the real things are so unexpected and full of absolute love, my best friend's visit to Medellin, it was full of emotion, and endless talks, it was all very fast so I didn't really focus on taking many pictures of the places we visited, that's the truth, but I always try to share with you some of my activities, I think I always focus on writing rather than photographing, it's something I have to work out, but I hope I can make this little post a tribute to FRIENDSHIP.)
Our friendship began when we were in 6th grade, so there are already several decades of an immense friendship, I hadn't seen her for 10 years, she migrated to the United States and I to Medellin Colombia, so it was getting more complicated to see each other again, we are really three my most precious group, but my other friend is also in the USA, but it is more complicated to leave, so I have to wait to see each other, my friend Adriana arrived by surprise on Saturday and only had two days to enjoy so we made the most of it, we went to a place called the Pueblo Paísa, it is a kind of village inside the city, at the top of Cerro Nutibara, it is a beautiful place, my photos do not really do it justice, but it is a space full of small colonial houses, with crafts, typical food, and music of the area, it is a kind of park full of tourists, music and beer, a delight.
The first day (Saturday) we managed to spend the whole afternoon together, my daughter, my friend and I, so we just went to Pueblo Paísa, there we could also be at the museum that I could take some pictures of a model of the city, some views and we just in a playful attitude really did the tour very fast we did not stop talking about our things, we could see some areas of the park, lunch and then home to continue talking.
On Sunday we decided to take advantage of the day and leave early to visit some places, she was traveling at night, her flight was very late so the day was ours, we visited the Bolivar square of Medellin, some places to have a drink, we went to a gallery, we tried some hammocks to rest, we drank coffee, beer and everything happened too quickly.
And so passed less than 48 hours of surprise visit, between a Saturday and Sunday, we tried to catch up 10 years, we cried, laughed and shared, we visited, Plaza Bolivar in Medellin, the center of Medellin Botero square and saw his beautiful sculptures, we ate at Social Club, recently opened a place of yesteryear, we went to the cultural complex Perpetuo Socorro, visited the Pueblo Pais, we drank coffee, tasted wafers, fritters, drank wine, beer, juices and desserts for my daughter who was The Perfect Company, what else can I say if not love and gratitude because life is one constaten change and events and I do not know when I will see her again, but I trust that soon, we feel that we spoke little and that the places were few, but we had an incredible time, I hope this little work, is to remember that good friends exist that time for them is worth gold, thanks for reading my work and the support I always receive thank you.
