This season has been extremely slow—and even a bit boring—though the reasons for this were entirely personal. Nevertheless, it is true that this time around, I wasn't able to enjoy Splinterlands quite as much as I have in previous seasons. Thankfully, however, just before the season ended, I managed to step back into the Gold Tier once again. This achievement brought with it a haul of greater rewards, including four Major Chests alongside seven Minor ones. Although I have never actually pulled a Gold Foil or Legendary card from these higher-tier loot chests, I always make a point of trying my luck here; consequently, I utilized both Alchemy and Legendary potions to open them.
And although I didn't pull any Gold or Legendary cards from this pack again, what I did receive is still quite good. For starters, I obtained two "Alchemy Potion Returns"; additionally, I received one Energy along with five Entry tickets. As for the cards, I pulled a ranged attacker from the Fire Element, which possesses decent Health and Speed, considering its Mana cost. I also received two copies of a Common card—a melee attacker from the Life Element—which is already a staple in my deck. I frequently utilize this card in low-Mana battles because, while it may appear to be a rather ordinary card at first glance, its "Flying" ability provides it with moderate protection against melee attacks; furthermore, its "Charge" ability allows me to position it at any desired spot within my lineup. However, I do feel it lacks an additional +1 Attack Power and a bit more Health—though hopefully, that deficiency will be remedied at higher levels.
Now, with less than a day remaining until the season ends, my goal is to reach the second stage of the Gold Tier within this timeframe. However, this will be anything but easy, as I have already noticed that winning battles has become extremely difficult; in the Gold Tier, your opponents are invariably experienced players. Nevertheless—along with some updates to my strategy—I have incorporated a few new cards into my deck. I will be back with you soon to share details about these cards and their performance. Until then, keep enjoying Splinterlands!
