A little while back I took the time to stop at this little skatepark in Canby, Oregon.
It was rite after work, so I was pretty tired, and it was really hot!!
luckily there wasn't anybody else there, so I was able to bitch about the vert ramps and transition which are too steep (basically straight up and down) or poorly planned transitions.. but this is what happens when concrete work is done by a person who is not intending on using the structure, and there is not enough funding to demand perfection.
All in all this park suits its purpose, as being a public skatepark in a place that would not normally have one [farming country meets big city].
We are across the street from the skatepark, working on Canby high-school's multiple-use football/soccer field, baseball, and softball fields. At one point in time when I attended school at Canby high, I was really stoked to find out there was a skatepark vary close to the school, but now I am spoiled and can drive myself to any park I want so I've become a bit snobby haha!
