I recorded this video a while ago, and it feels like it's been forever. I think I tried to upload this video 2-3 times.. even today I messed up once and hit refresh lol!
Anyways, I went to the Tigard skatepark one morning to practice some stuff on some transition ramps, aswell as some grinds on the coping.
I ended up hanging out with some "old-school" skateboarders who probably had 15-20 years on me, and were probably in better shape.. and there was a girl there with her mom, and her pink dog..
The girl was wearing her helmet backwards at first, and I thought she was being ironic.. but she really didn't notice which made it more funny!
She was practicing dropping into the big bowl which is a pretty big vert-ramp, and all the other skateboarders were really courteous and encouraging to her, and it was pretty cool that her mom was recording clips on her cellphone and being really supportive as well!
