It appears that the Daily Quest timer is based on what time one have completed the previous quest and not fixed at a 24 hour period. I was expecting to have my daily quest today about 12 hours ago as it's my usual time to play the game, but to my surprise my daily quest is not yet ready. Glad I had the snipe quest today, although it took me about 30 minutes to complete as I was given battle with rules that won't allow me try for the quest.
