In March of this year, I heard about this new game (SplinterForge.io) that utilizes Splinterlands NFTs for boss fights. I jumped in and started play testing, and I've been hooked ever since.
SplinterForge.io has been incredibly fun to play test over the past 6 months and I wanted to share my experience with other Splinterlands players.
SplinterForge.io is a Boss fight game that lets you use your Splinterlands NFTs in a whole new way!
The game is being developed by community members @rareraptor and RarelyHere and they are heavily invested in the Splinterlands ecosystem.
“The primary goal of Splinterforge.io is to create more use and value for Splinterlands' NFTs." RarelyHere
"With that goal in mind, we're gamers first and saw a fun way to fill a niche that's missing in the current Splinterlands mechanics: Boss Fights." -@rareraptor
I've been having so much fun playing that I've rented and purchased some Splinterlands NFTs just to use them in SplinterForge.io to build stronger teams.
Below are sneak peeks of the new User Interface that is about to be released.
This is the screen where you can equip items onto your heroes to increase their stats and abilities. This is a screenshot of my warrior with mostly max-level equipment.
This is the boss selection screen which allows you to select one of four bosses at varying difficulties from bronze to diamond. This is still in the testing phase and the bosses will eventually have varying abilities.
Each boss has a separate leaderboard with reward payouts when the boss is killed. It's fun competing with other community members to see who can do the most damage to each boss!
Here is a sample of the boss fight in action (note this is still the alpha version). Note that users select two summoners for battle. That Silvershield Knight I purchased just to have the extra inspire ability for SplinterForge.io battles.
You too can join the SplinterForge.io alpha, all you need is to log in with your hive keychain. For more information join the SplinterForge.io Discord or start playing today at (SplinterForge.io).
