Hello everyone,
Some of you might have seen an earlier post about me. My mother is from Thailand and tries to make me understand the culture as good as possible. I do know a lot of things but definitely not everything.
My mother thought it was a great idea to let me participate a Thai beauty pageant, ofcourse I needed a traditional Thai dress, fancy golden jewelry and sweet-looking makeup.
So okay I did the whole thing and never seen my mom so proud.. Which isn't really weird, because she barely shows any emotion in general (hahah) so that's when the news dropped : I have to learn to speak Thai as well to compete ...
I am 23 years old and have never learned the Thai language properly, I can say the basics.. But that won't help me win such a contest. So I thought I'd move to next year to participate in the Thai beauty pageant. And apply for the Dutch beauty pageant instead.
