People always seem to look for a nice place to go to, they want to go as far away from home as possible to feel like they are having vacation. To make them feel special. Of course I love to travel as well, but you can't always go somewhere because of your financial situation. A valuable lesson I learned is to actually enjoy your hometown. For most of us, it's very hard to believe that our own hometown could be a nice place too!
That's mostly because it's associated with the daily life, you work, get your groceries and do your thing. But if you just could take a moment and look at it differently, you can find a lot of places that make your hometown special! There are tourists coming from far away to your hometown to look at the beautiful environment, to do fun things! And you can do that as well, just if you change your point of view a bit. Just like this picture I uploaded, it's lovely and looks like a Christmas movie. But it's actually the place where I live (during Christmas).
Lesson learned: appreciate what you've got and make the best out of it! Just change your thoughts a bit ;)
