The river is about 25min flight away from landing strip, so I don't get to be there at sunset too often, unless the winds are in my favor to make it home within 30 minutes after sunset (to stay legal)...
This flight I had some winds blowing in the right direction so I knew I could get home quicker than usual and still land with enough light and time.
I love hiking in river valleys as well with all the shadows that quickly change at sunrise/sunset, ut its espcially beautiful from the sky, above the landscape.
And there goes the sun, time to head home now and land before dark.
