I am so excited to be part of this community! I see that a lot of user's are verifying and wanted to throw my hat into a slightly different ring. I have don't want to take this time to link my online persona with my real name and information. Instead I would like to jump off with a small conversation to break the ice.
So many people fall victim to cyber bullying, labeling, stereotypes and other harmful social consequences. I have been on both sides of the equation and don't prefer being anywhere near that type of social interaction. I can keep myself away from this by keeping my own real life person away from this profile. I will give my opinions but I have always felt it to be harmful to make your views public. We live in a society of judges, and no matter what you say there is a negative side to it. I don't want to be linked to this account for life, but I would love to create something great here and grow with everyone's help. So unfortunately I will not be giving away my name, or showing my face. And I don't want to limit your view of me by saying I am a certain race, gender, or any other label.
I would love to hear your views on sharing your information on the web. I always feel like my friends and family care little how much Facebook, reddit, google or other corporation's can take your data and use it. I fear this so I create a controlled online presence where I try to stay focused on what is important and not to take opportunities to share unpopular opinions. How much do you share? Where do you draw the limit with what you share and who you share it with?
Hopefully I can be open on this site without concern of tracing views back to me. I really like the idea of rewarding content creators with the profits generated by the community.
