Hispaliterario 5 | La Colina Luminosa

España, Año 2014.

Ella es Amapola, su nombre artístico es “La Prohibida”, artista de la noche madrileña, travesti, nunca le gustó hacer doblaje de canciones populares en su show, por lo que nació de su interior la intención de ir más allá, hacer su propia música y aunque no nació con el talento para cantar, decidió estudiar canto e interpretación, con mucho esfuerzo y un largo recorrido de prácticas logró su objetivo, cantar en vivo. Sintió el orgullo recorrer su cuerpo al escuchar lo que había logrado con su voz, hizo vibrar de emociones a las almas en los bares, pocas que luego fueron miles, hasta convertirse en una gran legión de seguidores.

La Prohibida es amante de la historia y la ciencia, por años estudió rituales culturales y los puso en práctica para tener sus propias ideas, una noche de trabajo conoció a Víctor Algora, músico y poeta con afición por la música sintética, electrónica, mantras, sonidos universales y siderales, al mantener una conversación y sentir la pasión en reciprocidad, todo fluyó en energías sobrenaturales, se alinearon los planetas, era como si el destino los había juntado para descifrar enigmas.

Después de tener los años más fructíferos en su carrera, La Prohibida ascendió al estatus de icono en España y el mundo, rompió muchos paradigmas en el arte del transformismo y se convirtió en una estrella de la música pop underground, sus canciones eran verdaderos himnos de resistencia para las comunidades más vulneradas, pero en su interior había un vacío con deseos de llenarse, tanto ella como Víctor eran amantes de la música conceptual de David Bowie, las canciones que hablaban de la vida en el planeta Marte, las misiones espaciales de Major Tom, su alter ego Ziggy Stardust, un extraterrestre sin sexo, este gran artista de los años 70, a través de su música daba visibilidad a los avances tecnológicos, los experimentos clasificados, el declive del planeta Tierra, la existencia de algún tipo de vida a años luz de distancia.

Una noche de profunda introspección, Amapola le contó a Víctor la historia de su padre, un hombre que fue clasificado como superlativo en cuanto a su coeficiente intelectual, una distinción tan prodigiosa que era comparada con el instinto de supervivencia empírica de algunos hombres del Neandertal que velaron por la continuidad de los humanos.

Su padre, científico encubierto, fue asignado a una misión para descubrir vida extraterrestre, el denominado experimento de “La Colina Luminosa”. Nunca trascendió el resultado de esa acción, con el tiempo Amapola recibió las cenizas de su padre en un cofre de cristal sin mayores explicaciones.

Víctor le propuso a Amapola la aventura de encontrar esa colina y viajar hasta ella, por lo que tenía que buscar entre las cosas de su padre alguna pista que les iluminara el camino. Las personas con inteligencia prodigiosa siempre usan escondites que son descartados por el común denominador por parecer demasiado evidentes, bajo esa noción Víctor alentó a Amapola a buscar información en su propia casa.

Tres meses después, a punto de abortar el plan, Amapola encontró una cinta de sonido que al reproducirla al revés revelaba un mensaje en código morse, descifrarlo les llevó más de 20 días, el audio afirmaba la existencia de la vida extraterrestre, las naves invasoras aterrizaban en Cuesta Mágica del Moncayo, Alicante, en luna cuarto creciente, las coordenadas eran exactas, la clave para que el espectáculo sobrenatural no cegara la vista humana era hacer sonar una combinación de 10 notas emitidas desde un teclado, con el sonido más astral posible, así, los visitantes entendería la presencia de humanos en la zona, con deseos de interactuar, y bajarían la intensidad de la luz que emite la nave al aterrizar, eso sería posible solo si su objetivo es amigable.

Una tarde de abril Amapola y Víctor, en total discreción, emprendieron su viaje hacia la colina, Víctor creó más de mil combinaciones de sonido para hacer el llamado a la nave, se encontraron con que la colina era magnética, muchas ilusiones ópticas distorsionaban la realidad, un día entero de caminar las alturas, por fin llegaron al terreno indicado, pasaron 6 días sin ver nada extraño, la luna amenazaba con cambiar de fase, Víctor usó más de 700 combinaciones de notas sin éxito, el cansancio ya invadía sus cuerpos.

Llegó el momento, un destello en la madrugada, el sonido 721, apareció la nave iluminando la colina, la fantasía pasó a ser realidad, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos ya los personajes estaban pisando el suelo, llevaban colores en luces de neón por todo el cuerpo, piel de color verde agua marina, parecían una versión delicada que los Na’vi de Avatar, tenían tres ojos, uno en la frente y juntos dibujaban una pirámide, la imagen que tenían los humanos, no se alejaba de la realidad, Amapola y Víctor no fueron lastimados, el sonido 721 era garantía de un trato amistoso.

Pasaron tantas cosas en tan poco tiempo, la más increíble, Amapola se enamoró a primera vista y perdidamente de Ziggy, el extraterrestre líder de su especie en ese viaje, parecía un encantamiento. Con solo tocar el dedo índice de la mano derecha de Amapola y Víctor, Ziggy logró comunicación en perfecto español, también pudo doblegar sus voluntades, y los llevó a la nave espacial para someterlos a estudios, sus cuerpos levitaron por primera vez.

Ziggy le confesó a Amapola que había conocido a su padre, y este, fue el único humano que logró cautivar a un “TernoSempi” del planeta “Ever”, al conocerlo surgió la amistad y luego lo dejó en libertad por considerarlo una maravilla de la creación, por ese motivo entró en conflicto con su equipo de investigación y finalmente fue asesinado, Amapola entre lágrimas por fin conoció la verdad acerca del desenlace de su padre.

A través de una especie de telepatía, propia de los “TernoSempi”, Amapola fue complacida en su deseo de tener una historia de amor con Ziggy, acariciaron su cabeza y en el lapso de una hora fue codificado en su memoria todo un año de experiencias de intenso amor, era increíble lo que esta especie podía lograr.

Víctor también pudo comunicarse con los “TernoSempi”, pudo conocer que, en los años 70, David Bowie había experimentado un encuentro con esta especie en la misma colina, por tal motivo hizo un disco homenaje a Ziggy y creó un movimiento ecológico por el bienestar de la Tierra. También conoció que 50 años en tiempo humano equivalen a un año para Ziggy y sus similares, por lo que tenían la misma apariencia física desde el encuentro con Bowie.

La nave abrió sus compuertas y Ziggy despidió a Amapola y a Víctor, les dijo que no tenían de que preocuparse, que no los lastimaría y desde las alturas los lanzó al vacío, los cuerpos descendieron con el peso de una pluma y aterrizaron en la colina, sumergidos en sueño inducido.

Al despertar, no dejaban de tocarse el uno al otro, habían vivido la experiencia de sus vidas, en el viaje de regreso a Madrid, Amapola le contó con detalles a Víctor todo lo que vivió en su año de amor con Ziggy, al pasar los días, Víctor sorprendió a Amapola “La Prohibida” al mostrarle la nueva canción que escribió para su regreso a la música, le dio por título “La Colina Luminosa”.

She is Amapola, her stage name is "La Prohibida", artist of the Madrid nightlife, transvestite, she never liked to dub popular songs in her show, so it was born from within her the intention to go further, make her own music and although she was not born with the talent to sing, she decided to study singing and interpretation, with much effort and a long journey of practices she achieved her goal, to sing live. She felt pride run through her body when she heard what she had achieved with her voice, she made the souls in the bars vibrate with emotions, a few that later became thousands, until she became a great legion of followers.

La Prohibida is a lover of history and science, for years she studied cultural rituals and put them into practice to have her own ideas, one night at work she met Victor Algora, musician and poet with a penchant for synthetic music, electronics, mantras, universal and sidereal sounds, when they had a conversation and felt the passion in reciprocity, everything flowed in supernatural energies, the planets aligned, it was as if fate had brought them together to decipher enigmas.

After having the most fruitful years in her career, La Prohibida rose to the status of icon in Spain and the world, she broke many paradigms in the art of transformism and became a star of underground pop music, her songs were true hymns of resistance for the most vulnerable communities, but inside her there was an emptiness wanting to be filled, both she and Victor were lovers of David Bowie's conceptual music, the songs that spoke of life on the planet Mars, Major Tom's space missions, his alter ego Ziggy Stardust, a sexless alien, this great artist of the 70's, through his music gave visibility to technological advances, classified experiments, the decline of planet Earth, the existence of some kind of life light years away.

One night of deep introspection, Amapola told Victor the story of her father, a man who was classified as superlative in terms of his IQ, a distinction so prodigious that it was compared to the empirical survival instinct of some Neanderthal men who watched over the continuity of humans.

His father, an undercover scientist, was assigned to a mission to discover extraterrestrial life, the so-called "Shining Hill" experiment. The result of that action never transcended, eventually Amapola received her father's ashes in a crystal chest without further explanation.

Victor proposed to Amapola the adventure of finding that hill and traveling to it, so she had to search among her father's things for some clue that would illuminate the way. People with prodigious intelligence always use hiding places that are discarded by the common denominator for seeming too obvious, under that notion Victor encouraged Amapola to look for information in her own house.

Three months later, about to abort the plan, Amapola found a sound tape that when played backwards revealed a message in Morse code, deciphering it took them more than 20 days, the audio affirmed the existence of extraterrestrial life, the invading ships landed in Cuesta Mágica del Moncayo, Alicante, in the crescent moon, the coordinates were exact, the key so that the supernatural spectacle would not blind the human sight was to sound a combination of 10 notes emitted from a keyboard, with the most astral sound possible, thus, the visitors would understand the presence of humans in the area, with desires to interact, and would lower the intensity of the light emitted by the ship when landing, that would be possible only if their target is friendly.

One April afternoon Amapola and Victor, in total discretion, started their journey to the hill, Victor created more than a thousand combinations of sound to call the ship, they found that the hill was magnetic, many optical illusions distorted reality, a whole day of walking the heights, they finally reached the indicated terrain, 6 days passed without seeing anything strange, the moon threatened to change phase, Victor used more than 700 combinations of notes without success, fatigue was already invading their bodies.

The moment arrived, a flash in the dawn, the sound 721, the ship appeared illuminating the hill, the fantasy became reality, in the blink of an eye the characters were already stepping on the ground, they were wearing colors in neon lights all over their bodies, sea water green skin, They looked like a delicate version of the Na'vi from Avatar, they had three eyes, one in the forehead and together they drew a pyramid, the image that the humans had, was not far from reality, Amapola and Victor were not hurt, the sound 721 was a guarantee of a friendly treatment.

So many things happened in such a short time, the most incredible, Amapola fell in love at first sight and madly in love with Ziggy, the extraterrestrial leader of her species in that trip, it seemed like an enchantment. Just by touching the index finger of Amapola and Victor's right hand, Ziggy was able to communicate in perfect Spanish, he was also able to bend their wills, and he took them to the spaceship to submit them to studies, their bodies levitated for the first time.

Ziggy confessed to Amapola that he had known his father, and this was the only human who managed to captivate a "TernoSempi" of the planet "Ever", when he met him, a friendship arose and then he set him free because he considered him a marvel of creation, for that reason he came into conflict with his research team and was finally killed, Amapola in tears finally learned the truth about the outcome of his father.

Through a kind of telepathy, typical of the "TernoSempi", Amapola was pleased in her desire to have a love story with Ziggy, they caressed her head and in the span of an hour was encoded in her memory a whole year of experiences of intense love, it was incredible what this species could achieve.

Victor was also able to communicate with the "TernoSempi", he learned that, in the 70's, David Bowie had experienced an encounter with this species on the same hill, and for this reason he made an album tribute to Ziggy and created an ecological movement for the welfare of the Earth. He also learned that 50 years in human time equals one year for Ziggy and his ilk, so they had the same physical appearance since the encounter with Bowie.

The ship opened its hatches and Ziggy dismissed Poppy and Victor, told them that they had nothing to worry about, that he would not hurt them and from the heights he launched them into the void, the bodies descended with the weight of a feather and landed on the hill, submerged in induced sleep.

When they woke up, they did not stop touching each other, they had lived the experience of their lives, on the return trip to Madrid, Amapola told Victor in detail everything she lived in her year of love with Ziggy, as the days passed, Victor surprised Amapola "La Prohibida" by showing her the new song he wrote for his return to music, he gave it the title "La Colina Luminosa" (The Shining Hill).
