I have read of modern day "glocks" with many hundreds of thousand rounds...
But these were well maintained. Maybe a barrel replaced, after some 6 figures
of rounds being ran through it. There was an HK guy who was working towards
a million rounds, but replaced a few internals. Not a lot, but it does show the good
engineering of an HK. One fine firearm that I "do not own" but someday, maybe...
