Dad actually listened to me when it came to prepping. He bought a good bit of ammo for the guns he owned, much of this at my suggestion. Between Dad and a wonderful soul from Alabama, my 38/357 stash is almost 1,000 rounds and the biggest share of that is 357 Magnum.
Next largest allotment is 38 special, but I also have a nice little cache of 38 spc +P donated by the aforementioned shooter from Alabama. He also included quite a lineup of 45 Super which is a 133% pressure limit over standard 45 ACP. Standard 45 ACP is 21,000 psi but 45 Super is capped at 28,000 psi. But that is another story... for another time!
Dad had a speedloader, I'm sure it fits S&W revolvers, and hopefully maybe my Ruger and Colt.
I someday hope to get a 357 Magnum lever gun, it's a "Cowboy Carbine" with a wheel gun sidearm. Who needs semi-auto if you have such a formidable combo as this? 馃槄
