… So God CREATED MAN… When God said to God !!!… “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
… (1:26b-28)... let them have dominion over... (See???... the higher order in man is revealed by God here)... the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing (meaning: Living thing) (Over every living thing) that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him (Something very special); male and female He created them.
(So remember... When the word MAN is used in Scripture???... It fully and equally refers to Woman).
28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply (Notice here that Man and Woman must come together to create life); fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
(It seems… That we have to CREATE in order to be obedient to this command of God)...
...REMEMBER this is when the world was PERFECT… (We should always keep the bar here and not mess with the truth of God Word...
… What do you think God meant… When HE said for us to SUBDUE the EARTH and HAVE DOMINION over it ???...
… To USE IT UP ???… To get busy DESTROYING it ???... KILL of the ANIMALS… and EAT THEM UP ???... Make this world (and all in it) our slave???...
… (No!!!)… The world was not EVEN FALLEN YET… that those things hadn't even come up yet...
...He meant to TEND IT… Serve it… Care for it… Enjoy it… Interact with it… (God created it for us)… To minister to us… It was A LOVE RELATIONSHIP… PEACEFUL… PLENTIFUL… ENJOYABLE… “Go into it… Subdue it… Explore it… Be good stewards of it”...
… And???....(Is it fair to say ???)... That God wanted to “WALK WITH US IN IT” (This very way)...
… Multiply ???... (I know what it means here as far as creating babies is concerned)...
… But… (Let me ask you ???)... What might that mean for us after Christ’s death and we are BORN AGAIN ???...
… Eventually… We should become more interested… In CREATING OFFSPRING… In people being “BORN... AGAIN”...
… How do we multiply as Christians ???... (The old fashion way)... But also...… Acts 6... tells us that... “The Word of God increased... and the number of disciples multiplied” (When the Word was shared the number of disciples multiplied)…
… When you can show to people… “A LIFE”... that is TRUE to the WORD... You will eventually see A multiplication of life through that love… (Hard to do because we aren’t always true… Pure… Rightly reflecting God’s Image)...
… (And… Only WE are made to REFLECT the IMAGE of GOD in such a manner… (Because we have been made in His image… We can do so)...
Now ... (Let’s say you LIVE IT… YOU NAIL IT !!!)... You’re SWEET OBEDIENCE… Is busy SUBDUING the world you live in… (You’ve even begun taking back from the enemy… Souls… From the fallen state of this world)...
… SURRENDERING to CHRIST… Then REFLECTING HIS LOVE and CARE and SERVING (The Obedience to God’s Truth)… Is NO EASY WAY anymore... (Jesus is our model)...
So … Subdue your world… REFLECTING THE IMAGE of GOD… (It’ll be a sacrifice)… Of extending love and sharing the Word… … But it will SUBDUE this fallen world and PRODUCE FRUIT and IT WILL MULTIPLY...
