We have a wonderful community of military veterans on Steemit that has banded together to support and to help each other grow as a collective. Every single day I am astounded by the diverse talents of this veteran community and I always learn something from reading the various posts within our group. But, the community leaders decided to start showcasing the amazing talent that we have. Here are some of the posts that have been shared, hope you enjoy!
Finally went on my "stop lying to myself run", time to kick it up a notch by @phelimint
This post showcases the struggle of trying to get back into shape after taking some paternity leave and starting a family. Running seems to be his exercise of choice and he is going about it the right way by tracking his progress. Check out the journey!

Deranged Photography Contest - Vote for May's Top Photos by @derangedvisions
This vet is an amazing photographer that travels the US taking photos for an upcoming book on the Civil War. It has been amazing to follow his journey and to live vicariously through his incredible photos. But, the awesome thing about him is that he is always trying to help other Steemians. This is one such way he is helping through photography contests. Votes are needed for the best photos so please go check this one out and vote for your favorite!
Overnight Camping in Trinidad, Colorado State Park by @rakkasan84
This post showcases a wonderful State park and a road trip of almost 500 miles in order to get some solitude while checking out a different state. I like the play-by-play of this one and the transparency as well as the fabulous photos! I have never been to Colorado before but may take a trip after reading this one.
Why Be Someone That Doesn't Make You Happy? by @socent
This is one of my own posts that I wrote about a friend that is having some identity issues because I want others to realize that they are not alone if they are working on finding themselves again. It can be hard to start over in life but you definitely can do it if you have the desire to.
I would highly recommend all of these posts if you are looking for great content and all of the authors here post amazing content almost every single or even multiple times per day.
Thanks for reading!
