St. John's Wort - Hypericum perforatum by
This post has incredible photography but even more useful information on this plant. I learned something by reading just the first paragraph! We should all work to educate ourselves on nature and our connection to it so I would recommend reading through this one.
Ulog #3 - Kittens, Doctors, Poker & Music? by
Ulogs are the latest writing challenge that seems to sweeping Steemit and the purpose is to get Steemians posting on a daily basis by telling about their lives. This post talks about groups on Steemit/Discord as well as a new addition to the family!

My visit to a lynching museum by
This post will give you chills as you read it because it details the tale of 4400 known lynching victims as well as countless others that were never recorded. One of the darkest times in American history, it very much deserves to be remembered and recognized so as not to repeat the same mistakes as we move forward as a country.

An interesting rant about the FCC in the United States and the recent repeal of net neutrality as well as the consequences that come with this decision.

Living Life Moment By Moment by
This is my own post that I wrote after having a conversation with a new friend on Discord about depression and how to live with it without it tearing you apart. The power of a great conversation is that it can give you a totally new perspective on life.
Deranged Photography Entry: Stop and Smell The Roses by
This is a contest entry post with some pretty great photos and a sense of humor that always makes me smile. I enjoy posts from this Steemian because they are real life and not everyone on Steem shows real life so its refreshing.
"Lilies of the Field" by
This is an art post as well as an intensely vulnerable post about life changes and pain that can change your life in an instant. Art is how this Steemian has learned to cope with the new life that they have been given as well as find a new normal to live the best life possible. Love the bravery in this one!
I hope you enjoyed this post where I have shared award-winning content from my wonderful friends of the military veteran community. I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity as well as all of the support that we have received for these posts from the Steem community.
Thanks for reading!
