Went to this really awesome antiques place in Exeter. It’s located in Marsh Barton just outside the town centre and is a huge antiques hall that also has some mixed in new sections featuring local artists and craft makers. There are some really reasonably priced items, unlike some of the antiques places that I feel are really over priced or the other side of the spectrum have too many cheap old glasses and crockery. I bought a long glass vase, my parents bought a blue Chinese vase and I almost bought a pair of crystal book ends but they were a bit more than I wanted to pay, even after my haggling attempt. I’m also still tempted to go back and get the Art Deco clock with the lady sat on top, featured in photo. There was also a small cafe where you could think about wether you should spend all your money on antiques 🤣
As always I took loads of photos! What would you buy?

This was the clock I wanted to get.
I also loved some of this Art Deco styled furniture. A lot was reproduction though.
This has to have been one of the weirder items. I do wonder who would find a use for it!
These were the bookends I really really wanted to get!
And something I absolutely have no space or use for but I still wanted because I think it would be one of the most epic party games.
After we had a sit down for a nice coffee
Also found this little gem for a realistic fancy dress
So now does the bit you’ve probably all scrolled for. The closest guess to the actual price of this following item I’ll send 5 hive to.
