STEEMPCAMP UK

Myself and @redrica have been part of a crew of London steemians who have been hosting regular meet ups in London over the last few months and when we saw this event come up in Birmingham we though tit was only fair to make the trip up considering that people regularly make the journey down to London. So we set off early in the morning to try and get there before lunch!

When we arrived my first joy of the day was to see I could park ALL day for £3!!! Thanks to @rimicane for suggesting these places...be even better if you can find such locations in London for us :D

Once we arrived talks were under way there were some topics on the board but I was super happy to play 'cards against humanity' that @redrica bought it was super super fun and such an ice breaker. For me steemit meet ups are as much a chance to mix, socialise and build a community with other bloggers and people interested in crypto currency and the blockchain as they are about the actual platform.

We then headed out for lunch at the vegan cafe but was closed for a refurb so we walked into town to 'eat' where a server light heartedly mimicked my 'posh' southern accent which, was amusing for me since I was born and lived till I was 18 in Derbyshire about 30 minutes drive from Birmingham! Thanks to the awesome Americans who took some pics for us!

After the event finished we went to Birmingham's oldest pub and continued discussions, was really nice to connect with some awesome people and share life stories and laughs.
