It's the worst thing about these sites that anyone for no reason just cause they are rich can decide to take away from another, it's just a smaller version of what goes on in society and nothing really has changed. I have never in my life flagged someone just because I do not like what they post etc, I mean serial plagiarists etc fine but flagging people from an argument or because they have different opinions is honestly pathetic. I got flagged once by some guy cause I didn't hate steemit and from someone else cause they just decided my post was 'overvalued' despite the fact I posted daily for 1 dollar sometimes. These sites would actually be better without the downvote system at all tbh.
