I don't rly resonate to it, I personally believe the idea is to try to find presence in each moment and live experiences. I have honestly just never felt any draw to hide from the world and do that. Sure i have felt drawn to spend periods doing that to go within but really not in such a way, I actually view it as escapism and bypassing. But thats just my perspective and I think we all follow our own journeys. I don't actively anymore speak to any guiides or entities as completely agree with you that it's all about self and connection to highest self/ source but i still find esoteric things interesting experiences and allow them if they come up. I listen to anything that comes on my path then decide if it resonates to me. I feel everything that shows up shows up for a reason. I totlally know what you mean tho! I really do agree about not seeking anything outside of self.
