I acknowledged I was given far better treatment than most and if I had toed the line and just joined in laughing at the newbies and doing everything I was told I’m sure would have been very big. Life rewarded me in other ways tho I guess. :) English not being your first language doesn’t make you stupid / mentally challenged.
