RECHARGE - SPLINTERLANDS PT/EN

Acredito que vocês concordem que Recharge está entre as piores habilidades de Splinterlands. Cada ataque é essencial para vencer e o fato de você só conseguir atacar a cada 2 rodadas pode ser bem problemático, principalmente considerando que há a possibilidade de errar o ataque (ou acertá-lo na armadura), mas ele pode sim ser bastante útil em alguns casos (bem específicos).

Oi, meu nome é Anny e hoje quero compartilhar com vocês um partida em que a habilidade Recharge finalmente foi útil!

I think you'll agree that Recharge is among the worst abilities in Splinterlands. Each attack is essential to win and the fact that you can only attack every 2 rounds can be quite problematic, especially considering that there is a possibility of missing the attack (or hitting the armor), but it can be quite useful in some cases (very specific).

Hi, my name is Anny and today I want to share with you a game where the Recharge ability finally came in handy!

A carta que possui a habilidade Recharge só poderá atacar uma vez a cada 2 rodadas porém o seu dano será triplicado. Essa habilidade pode ser bem útil em cartas como o Ifrit Rising pois seu dano mágico não tem chance de errar ou ser diminuído pela armadura.

Entretanto existem muitas outras cartas com essa habilidade e que não possuem as mesmas vantagens, uma delas é o Uriel the Purifier que está sujeito a enfrentar as duas dificuldades mencionadas acimas. Isso não significa que ele será inútil sempre, afinal uma carta com alta vida e boa capacidade de sobrevivência após receber a habilidade Heal no level 2 não é tão ruim assim.

As coisas ficam ainda melhores se você der sorte de encontrar uma partida parecida com essa que mostrarei agora para vocês.

The card that has the ability Recharge can only attack once every 2 rounds but its damage will be tripled. This ability can be very useful on cards like Ifrit Rising as its magic damage has no chance to miss or be reduced by armor.

However, there are many other cards with this ability that do not have the same advantages, one of them is Uriel the Purifier which is subject to face the two difficulties mentioned above. This does not mean that he will always be useless, after all a card with high health and good survivability after receiving the ability Heal no level 2 isn't that bad.

Things get even better if you're lucky enough to find a match similar to the one I'm going to show you now.

As regras desse combate e a escolha do invocador inimigo favoreceram bastante o Uriel. Começando pelas regras, o Flying permite que o Uriel ignore o dano do Earthquake e a Up Close and Personal garante que sua armadura será útil contra os oponentes de dano físico.

A escolha do oponente também foi ótima pois ele também utilizou a combinação de Flying + Heal para ter uma linha de frente capaz de sobreviver por muito tempo, amplificando seu poder ofensivo através do Thorns do invocador Mylor Crowling.

Somando o dano do Pelacor Mercenary com o do Thorns ele é capaz de causar 5 de dano e curar 3 de vida por rodada. Sua armadura conseguiu parar todo o dano causado pelo Uriel e enrolou bastante tempo, fazendo com que a Celestial Harpy morresse para o Thorns durante seus ataques.

The rules of this combat and the choice of the enemy summoner greatly favored Uriel. Starting with the rules, Flying allows Uriel to ignore damage from Earthquake and Up Close and Personal ensures that your armor will be useful against physical damage opponents.

Opponent choice was also great as he also used the combination of Flying + Heal to have a frontline capable of surviving for a long time, amplifying its offensive power through Thorns of the summoner Mylor Crowling.

Adding the damage of Pelacor Mercenary with that of Thorns he is able to deal 5 damage and heal 3 health per round. His armor was able to stop all the damage done by Uriel and stalled for a long time, causing Celestial Harpy to die to Thorns during your attacks.

Na quarta rodada finalmente chegou a hora do Recharge fazer a diferença (lembrando que não são todas as partidas que te permitirão ficar vivo até a quarta rodada sem causar dano, por isso essa habilidade é tão problemática). Sem a armadura para segurar o dano do Uriel the Purifier, em um único ataque ele causou 9 de dano no Pelacor Mercenary e o eliminou.

Por causa do Recharge o dano triplo causado tornou o Heal inútil (pois não teve nem chance de usá-lo) e diminuiu o efeito negativo do Thorns (se fosse preciso dar três ataques pra causar esse dano o Uriel receberia 6 de dano refletido ao invés de 2).

In the fourth round, it's finally time for Recharge to make a difference (remembering that not all matches will allow you to stay alive until the fourth round without causing damage, which is why this ability is so problematic). Without the armor to handle damage from Uriel the Purifier, in a single attack he dealt 9 damage to Pelacor Mercenary and eliminated him.

Because of Recharge the triple damage done made Heal useless (since he didn't even have a chance to use it) and reduced the negative effect of Thorns (if necessary giving three attacks to deal this damage Uriel would take 6 reflected damage instead of 2).

Após eliminar seu oponente com habilidades muito semelhantes, restou apenas o Gargoya Lion que nada podia fazer para conseguir eliminar o Uriel, restando apenas aguardar duas rodadas até que chegasse a hora do ataque final...

After eliminating his opponent with very similar abilities, there was only Gargoya Lion left who couldn't do anything to eliminate Uriel, leaving only two rounds to wait until the time of the final attack arrived...

É difícil utilizar bem o Recharge devido a todas os detalhes que o atrapalham de funcionar perfeitamente, entretanto esta é uma ótima partida para mostrar que realmente pode ser útil ter uma carta com essa habilidade quando as coisas precisam ser resolvidas em poucos ataques para evitar o Heal e outras habilidades problemáticas, sendo também uma ótima forma de lidar com cartas como o Kron the Undying.

Se o Uriel the Purifier ganhasse a habilidade Piercing no level 4 ele realmente teria grande potencial, infelizmente colocaram Redemption que não é tão interessante para essa carta. Bem, pelo menos o Recharge funcionou 🤣

It's difficult to use Recharge well due to all the details that prevent it from working perfectly, however this is a great game to show that it really can be useful to have a card with this ability when things need to be resolved in a few attacks to avoid Heal and other problematic abilities, it is also a great way dealing with cards like Kron the Undying.

If Uriel the Purifier gained the ability Piercing at level 4 he would really have great potential, unfortunately they put Redemption which is not so interesting for this card. Well, at least the Recharge worked 🤣
