Anger itself is not bad (there are always going to be things in life that frustrate us and make us mad). It's the wrong reaction to our anger that is bad. Love doesn't lose its temper and fly off the handle.

I anger easily when I'm hungry, tired, hormonal, etc. I want to stay in a better state of calm and clarity and keep my wits about me, responding appropriately, instead of angrily.
Because love is not easily angered.

Anger can be devastating if acted upon. It's better to wait to calm down before responding. Acting in a loving manner in response to our anger isn't easy, but it's the right thing to do. Love is the brake pedal for acting on anger! We are obviously going to get angry, but it's our choice if and how we act on it. It's our responsibility to choose love!
