1st Corinthians 9:24-27

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25
KJV:And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

KJV:I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27
KJV:But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
It takes discipline to excel, even the devil knows it that's why he keeps bringing all manner of distraction our way but it's often very sad that most of is allow him to win the battle..
There are several deceptive ways the devil uses to enter into our lives... sometimes he could win is over with our phones, our desire to dress well and be attractive, our speech,etc.
Anyone who desires to be prominent and to mount with wings like and eagle, must follow the scripture as stated in Isaiah 40:31 which says;
KJV:But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Many people are too lazy to pray, the keep procrastinating yet they want to experience miracles in their lives, but how is that possible???
Most of us can't give up our meals for fasting yet we want to grow on the spirit and cast out demon...We forget so easily that it is only when we seek God deligently that we will find him.. Matthew 17:21 says;
KJV:And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Comparing how we sleep and eat with how we pray and fast, how disciplined can we say we are???
