I never knew something this exciting could hit me in the month of september and make me ecstatic, I never knew that the animated film I loved so much when I was a kid finally has a movie. Yes! A movie; given all the funny tricks the animated film had in it when it got released in the late 20th century, 1998. I remember when I was a naive kid, when I use to play in the streets building sand castles. I remember this animated film was my favourite, amongst all cartoon on TV back then, this one was so mature. "Mulan" got me so thrilled as a little boy and now finally when I tried to search on youtube for a soundtrack that made me recount the amazing cartoon, I found that Disney already released the official trailer for the movie.
When I saw the official movie trailer of "Mulan" I was confused at first, I was guessing in my heart maybe this was a compilation of different movie scene by a youtube content creator to invite traffic on his account but as I watched passed 30 secs into the 1:30mins trailer it became apparent that it was real, the movie has been shot. But what broke my heart at that instance was when I saw it will be released next year in the spring of 2020. Damn! I got so mad with the release date. The trailer was actioned filled from start to finish, at that moment I needed a leaked link to watch it even if the download button will be absent I won't mind streaming it.
Well, I don't blame Disney for scheduling the official release date of "Mulan" up until next year for people to buy and watch, you know they already released The movie "Lion King" this year and my little knowledge in the filming industry reminded me that filming companies don't rush in releasing all their movies under their sleeves for the year. I heard they prefer to release them gradually like quarterly a year, half a year or once annually. Which I totally understand. So what they do is to release trailers, trailers to incite hypes, that makes viewing appetite for the release date salivating. Trailers that blows the mind.
Well, Disney did well to blow my mind with "Mulan" movie trailer. For some of us who didn't watch the cartoon as a kid. Here's a little coffee for you to sip on what the story was like;
Here is a lady who woke the warrior within her to help her dad. She got the news that her dad will be summoned to go to war, she knows he won't survive it, therefore she makes up her mind to contribute in winning the war; hiding her identity as a lady, trains in the military and when the time for war came, she ends up as a super hero.
Also, the movie scenes will be a little innovative than the animated film which I am sure of. If your visual appetite is begging to watch it, I will do you a favour, here's a youtube link below, do watch it and anticipate the official release date to see the full movie;
