Amid cold steel
And concrete do I stand,
And see upon my land
The wondrous seal
Of Man's ingenious mind.
And as I look, I find
A sun that tries to set
In city's post and wire net.

. . .

In jungles deep
He stands and sees
About his knees
The plants which keep
For him a hidden
Source of life revered.
Fulfilling self-awareness neared,
He smiles in joy so softly bidden.
