I still can't come to terms with the fact that we lost yesterday's match despite the many chances we got. This of course has cost us the top spot falling behind Liverpool with a point. Consistency has always been much of a herculean task for the Gunners over the past decade. I don't know if its a jinx or something but if not strongly addressed and curbed will cost us the title , that's if we don't even fizzle out of the title contenders debate eventually .
Most Arsenal fans will argue that we were robbed at Villa Park yesterday . As Arteta said at the post match conference, it was indeed clear and obvious . That being said we won't be crying over spilled milk had it been the boys were clinical enough to convert the chances created .
I've always said this times without number that if the Gunners aren't purposeful to acheiving premeir glory they should just forget about the title come next year May . I can bet Liverpool that are presently on top won't just let that first and top spot slip away from them carelessly . Inconsistency has always being Arsenal's woes and also a demon they must fight if they want to acheive any success both domestically and Europe at large.
Honestly at this juncture I'm really not sure about Arsenal chances at clinching the Epl trophy most especially. It will really be a tought tussle between them and Liverpool as well as Manchester City . Both teams are serious minded that I know of but for the Gunners there's always an iota of doubt to be honest .
