It is definitely not an easy task snatching three points at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium but Arsenal FC seemed to achieve that fit effortlessly as they defeated their North London rivals with a 2 nil victory.
An away victory for the Gunners clearly made them sit at the top of the table gallantly with a 8 point cushion ! . Manchester City losing to their fierce neighbors in the Manchester derby kind of made the Spurs - Gunners game a must win game for Arsenal FC by claiming solid three (3) points .
Personally , I was a bit shaky about our title chances when we got a draw at the Emirates stadium against the magpies, Newcastle. I felt we were suppose to hit the nail on the head by winning that match and extend our lead on the table rather than just dropping two important points .
Fast forward to this North London derby victory for Arsenal FC, I feel the boys are really motivated and spurred on for the title challenge. My only fear is and has always been that of injuries. For most Arsenal fans the fear of injuries on our key players is always the beginning of wisdom.
Recently, we weren't able to secure the Mudryk deal as Chelsea clearly hijacked the deal. I really do not feel there will be a January transfer for Arsenal this transfer window.
Probably the squad depth is deep enough to see us through the season . I just hope those players on the bench live up to the expectations of we the fans whenever they come on the pitch to play for the Arsenal badge .
Our next match in the league will be a decisive one . I hope it makes and not mar our chances of clinching the title .
Playing against the rejuvenated and in form red devils will definitely not be an easy task . Manchester United are riding on an impressive streak of winning form . Their latest being a victory against their noisy neighbors City even though most people claim the victory was quite dodgy .
Manchester United is the only team to have defeated Arsenal in the league so far with a 3-1 win victory at Old Trafford. Even though I felt we were robbed in that match by VAR canceling Martinelli's goal I still consider Manchester United a tough opponent .
An Arsenal - United match will always be a feisty challenge. The match at the Emirates should be a different ball game from the first leg at Old Trafford. It is really all or nothing for the boys on from here . They cannot afford to slip up if they really want the much coveted EPL title .
It is really 8 points clear at the top of the table for Arsenal . I bet rivals 8 (hate) to see this . C'mon You Gunners!!
