I was trying to find some more information on steemits websocket today when I came across something really strange.
At first I thought that steemit had actually changed to my-steemit, until I saw an odd "Login for Artakan and friends only" button in place of the "Login" button on steemit.com and I soon realized I had landed on a clone page by 
I'm in no way insinuating that what he did was wrong, but it does point out that we need to be very cautious now that steemit is open source, since anyone can clone and create a "New" steemit site in ~5 minutes.
