Abuja is very rocky. When you are driving through the city, you will see rock almost everywhere. The construction companies in Abuja had to break down many rocks to develop some roads within the city.
I belong to a hiking group called Compass crew and we hike every Saturday. We visit different mountains within and neighbouring cities but we always consider security because of the state of the nation.
This was 2 weeks ago. We hiked the Dawaki mountain in Abuja, Nigeria. At first, it seems like an easy task but it turns to be a very tedious one. I almost fell from the hill.
There are mighty stones on the mountain. I could not climb some parts because they seems too risky. I still love my life, lol!
This is the look of the city from the mountain. Climbing alone took over 2hours. We had to keep resting because of the path.
I just want to do something crazy. I am the guy on black with tongue out. :) This was when we were still climbing and I still had some energy on me. I later got tired and was falling off the ground.
