To get an idea of how well it pays out, take a look at the daily post, where it lists all holders, the amounts that they have, and how much HIVE that they received for their holdings. As an example, I have 830 BXT, and I receive around 0.5xx HIVE daily. The top holder of INCOME has 840, and he receives over 2.5 HIVE daily. Big difference!
