Right, this is some kind of social simulator, in most cases people who like it are either weebs or anti social virings so they can get a life inside of this game. In my case its both weeb and anti social virgin, that's why I enjoy it so much, I'm not that much into turn-based stuff but developing my friendship with girls and living a daily life inside this game is so cool, especially when I don't have those things IRL. But I would say its not a typical JRPG, its pretty unique imo I played a lot of JRPG and I feel like Persona is the king in its type. Haven't encountered another game like Persona. If u want to look at masterpiece JRPG look at NieR:Automata and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... Those two are my fav JRPG and I can really recommand them.
