Floats to infinity
On this occasion I present these photographs taken this summer.
I was struck by how full of algae they were, surrounding the round floats that separate an area from the beach, so that those who do sports enter through that place and do not disturb swimmers and those who enjoy the walk along the shore.
But now the protagonist is not the beach, nor the sun that warms this summer day, not even the views.
Our mind is with one goal, which is this row of floats.
They resemble a strange worm with their round bodies and bright green skin filled with salty water.
Closer could be the head, a strange head, with a parting in the middle of the face, without eyes but with a green beard.
I just had to get my feet wet to almost capture this macro shot, I like to squat down and look at different perspectives.
See and capture, how the floats submerge in the cold waters of the Cantabrian Sea and only come out a little like the humps of an infinite worm, looking for the bottom where if they were really worms, their food.
The waves change its position and its body is no longer straight and direct to infinity, it has separated, revealing the differences and the separation of the buoys, all covered with algae and food for the fish, drawing our attention with their intense green .
People walk by and look at me crouched almost touching my back in the water, wetting my clothes, since we were only walking and without a swimsuit.
But I don't care if they look at me and call me crazy, for me they are very expressive photographs of nature, which colonizes everything that man does if we give it enough time to grow.
But the reality is that we live here and we know very little about it and less about its deep waters, where they can live, all the kinds of animals that we can imagine and many times those that we cannot because our mind does not understand so much wonder.
Happy Tuesday friends.
